NEW YORK CITY -- Lincoln Center was buzzing with excitement Monday night as the red carpet rolled out for the premiere of the much-anticipated movie "Deadpool & Wolverine," where the fan-favorite superheroes join forces.

As one of the year's most awaited films, fans were eager to see the dynamic duo on screen together. Outside the David H. Koch Theater, elaborate costumes and enthusiastic fans added to the electric atmosphere.
Eyewitness News entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo spoke with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who star as Deadpool and Wolverine. When asked if they had a message for each other now that the film was premiering, Jackman shared, "We actually said it to each other, which is 'slow down, feel your feet on the ground, and take this in.'" Reynolds added, "I think the exact words were 'slow down, you move too fast, you gotta make the moment last.'"

Without revealing any spoilers, the movie features Deadpool and Wolverine teaming up to defeat a common enemy. It's a story about friendship, featuring returning fan favorites.
