Headlines News Hub (HNH) — Nicole M. Perry (Rodriguez), affectionately known as Nikki by her loved ones, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She was married to Rick Perry for over 18 wonderful years, during which they built a beautiful family and a life full of love.
Nicole was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to her late parents Luis and Dorothy Rodriguez. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children: Allyssa M. Sanders, Erika A. Sanders, Jessica M. Perry, Savannah R. Perry, Avery L. Perry, and Ava G. Perry. She was preceded in death by her daughter Emma R. Sanders.
She is survived by her brother Christopher Rodriguez. Nicole was also predeceased by her grandmother Betty (Flanagan) Brobeck, her uncle John D. Dudley, and her Nana, Sarah Irene Dudley.
Nicole will always be remembered for her free spirit, kindness, and compassion. She was not only a dedicated wife and mother but also a beloved friend to many. Those who knew her have countless memories of her warmth and vibrant personality. Whether it was enjoying girls' nights, sharing margaritas, or simply lending an ear, Nicole had a unique way of making everyone feel heard and loved. Her zest for life and her ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on all who met her.
A proud graduate of Hilliard Davidson, Nicole had a love for shopping, a trait she inherited from her mother, Dorothy. She shared deep bonds with her friends and family, and her laughter and spirit will be greatly missed. As we remember her, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones and in the embrace of our Heavenly Father. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her, and in her own words, she would remind us all to “Stay Fabulous, Slay Fabulous.” We love you, Nikki!
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Nicole’s life on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
