On Tuesday, a whale leapt out of the water and landed on a boat off the coast of New Hampshire, flipping it and sending two people into the sea, according to the Coast Guard.

The incident was captured on video, showing the whale breaching and crashing onto the boat, causing it to capsize. Thankfully, everyone involved, including the whale, was unharmed.
A mayday call was made, and rescuers quickly came to the aid of the boaters. The Coast Guard praised the quick response of the good Samaritans who helped with the rescue, expressing their gratitude on social media.
The two men thrown overboard, Greg Paquette and Ryland Kenney, were uninjured, and their boat was later recovered. The whale also appeared to be fine.

Paquette described the event, saying, "It all happened so fast—everything from the whale hitting the boat to us being in the water felt like it lasted much longer than it did."
Nearby, teenage brothers Wyatt and Colin Yager captured the dramatic moment on video and assisted in the rescue. Wyatt Yager described their reaction, saying, "It was a moment of shock. We quickly realized we needed to act fast and help those guys out of the water."
